It records only when you hold the button
There is no wake word and no always-on microphone. The card captures while the button is held, the display shows you when it is capturing, and nothing is ambient.

Your voice is yours.
Your captures belong to you
Delete any capture — audio, transcript and summary — in one tap, and it is gone. Your voice is never sold and never used to sell you anything.
Connections are yours to grant and revoke
Calendar and mail connections are optional and enabled by you, per account. chit reads them to match captures to meetings and to draft follow-ups, and you can disconnect any account at any time.
Payment details never touch our servers
Checkout is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. We never see a card number.
If your membership lapses
The card still records; the intelligence — transcripts, briefs, connections and search — pauses until it is back.
Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, to understand visits. The device and app are not part of that measurement.
