Deficiencies, device by device
An inspection is a walk past hundreds of devices, and the report is a reconstruction of that walk performed hours later, from notes taken while holding a flashlight. Narrate it instead: the device ID, the deficiency, the code item. The report draft assembles from what you said, in order, and the deficiencies queue as the backlog they actually are. The inspection audio is a record of the walk itself, which matters in a trade where the question is frequently not whether something was wrong but whether anybody noticed it on the last visit.
