An AI meeting notes app for healthcare administrators

Who carries it: Practice manager

The ops half of healthcare drowns in untracked conversations. chit is an AI meeting notes app for healthcare admins and practice managers: hold the button through vendor calls, staff huddles, and patient-experience follow-ups, and that evening's digest lists the ops tasks, vendor chases, and staffing notes — non-clinical by design.

A hand holding chit one between thumb and forefinger, the card the size of a credit card.

When a practice manager presses it

  • Vendor calls
  • staff huddles
  • patient-experience follow-ups (non-clinical)
Teach it your job

Practice manager across 3 locations; capture vendor quotes and staff action items - non-clinical only.

A context like this — typed once into the app — is how chit stops being a generic recorder and starts being yours.

What the end of the day gives back

Ops tasks, vendor chases, staffing notes.

What the company sees

Vendor calls and staff huddles captured across locations, resident in your own VPC.

Where the data lives

Enterprise deployments keep data resident in your organisation's own VPC; chit is built for the operational side of a practice and makes no HIPAA certification claim.

The operational half, deliberately

chit is not a clinical documentation tool and this page is not about the exam room. It is about the other half of running a practice: the vendor call where a rate was quoted, the staff huddle where a schedule change was agreed, the equipment quote that arrived verbally, the patient-experience follow-up that is administrative rather than clinical. Those conversations run three locations and are recorded nowhere. Capture them and the evening digest is ops tasks, vendor chases and staffing notes. Deployments keep data resident in your organisation's own VPC. We make no HIPAA certification claim on this page — what we can describe is the architecture and the fact that nothing is captured unless somebody holds the button.

Good questions

Is chit a clinical scribe?

No. chit is built for the operational side of a practice — vendor calls, staff huddles, follow-ups. Clinical documentation is a separate, regulated lane, and chit doesn't pretend otherwise.

Is chit HIPAA certified?

We don't make certification claims on this page. Enterprise deployments keep data resident in your organization's own VPC — ask us about compliance deployments at hichit.com/enterprise.

Can it keep track of vendor quotes across three locations?

Yes. Ask-anything search runs across everything you've captured, so "what did the linen vendor quote in June" gets an answer, and the daily digest keeps each location's follow-ups queued.

How do I capture a hallway staff huddle?

Hold the button. chit is credit-card sized, needs no setup, and works offline — the two-minute huddle by the front desk becomes action items in that evening's digest.

Does it connect to our email, calendar, and accounting?

Email and calendar, yes — those are the two connections today, opt-in per account and disconnectable at any time. There is no accounting connection.

Recording laws differ by state, and several require every party's consent. chit only captures while the button is held — know your state's rule before recording another person.
