An AI note taker for recruiters

Who carries it: Recruiter

Fifteen screens a week is fifteen comp numbers, notice periods, and dealbreakers — and the candidate's real number was said in minute four. An AI note taker for recruiters captures screens and hiring-manager intakes as they happen, and hands back submittals promised, feedback owed, and pipeline moves that evening.

The candidate's real number was said in minute four.

A hand holding chit one between thumb and forefinger, the card the size of a credit card.

When a recruiter presses it

  • hiring-manager intakes
  • debriefs
Teach it your job

Agency recruiter, 15 screens a week; capture comp expectations and must-haves.

A context like this — typed once into the app — is how chit stops being a generic recorder and starts being yours.

What the end of the day gives back

Submittals promised, feedback owed, pipeline moves.

What the company sees

Intakes and debriefs captured per requisition, searchable across the desk.

Where the data lives

Candidate PII stays in the agency's own VPC.

Fifteen screens a week, and the one you needed on Thursday

A recruiter's week is a stack of conversations that are individually memorable and collectively a blur. The comp number the staff engineer gave, the candidate who would relocate for the right team, the hiring manager's real must-have as opposed to the one on the req. Recap between calls — thirty seconds, name, number, must-haves, what you promised. That evening the digest is submittals promised, feedback owed and pipeline moves. Weeks later, when a role reopens, ask-anything search finds the candidate who said the right thing in March. The intakes and career fairs matter here too: those are the conversations no meeting bot can attend, and they are where the actual requirements get said out loud.

Good questions

How do I remember every candidate's comp expectations?

Ask-anything search runs across every screen you've captured — "who was open to relocating," "what number did the staff engineer give" — and returns the answer with a timestamp, weeks later.

Can it keep up with back-to-back phone screens?

Each hold-to-record capture files as its own transcript, and the daily digest sorts the day into submittals you promised, feedback hiring managers owe, and pipeline moves to make.

Does it sync to Greenhouse, Lever or Bullhorn?

Not yet — first-party agents for that are coming. Today each screen comes back as a transcript with the comp, the must-haves and the promised follow-ups pulled out, ready to paste into your ATS. If ATS write-back on video calls is your only requirement, a bot-based tool fits better; chit is for the intakes and career fairs a bot cannot attend.

What about candidate PII and EEO exposure?

Agency deployments keep candidate data resident in the agency's own VPC, and structured notes center on job-relevant facts — comp, skills, availability. See hichit.com/enterprise, and ask us about compliance deployments.

Does it record my calls automatically?

No — it records only while you hold the button, with no wake word and no always-on mic. Many recruiters narrate a fifteen-second recap between calls and let the digest do the filing.

Recording laws differ by state, and several require every party's consent. chit only captures while the button is held — know your state's rule before recording another person.
